DISCOUNTED CLEAN ELECTRICITY

Tailored to the needs of municipalities, government agencies, non-profit organizations, and agricultural facilities

Per information provided by the State, gross electric-utility-rate of DPL (for a typical service) in 2025 is shown to be approximately 19 cents/KWh ($2050 / (12 x 900 KWh) ≈ 18.98 cents/KWh) and rising. The primary goal for all of our projects is to supply clean electricity at a substantial discount for many years to come.

Shore Community Power (SCP) builds, owns, operates, and maintains our projects for the long term. Our customers simply benefit financially from the project through an attractive power purchase agreement (PPA).

Under this PPA benefit alone, we anticipate delivering a total of approximately $63M of savings going back into the pockets of the entities chosen to benefit from our projects over the term of these initial Projects.

WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING

BENEFITING INDIVIDUALS IN OUR COMMUNITY

Shore Community Power is committed to creating workforce development and training opportunities and programs in collaboration with non-profit organizations, colleges, and local governments. Clean energy has been one of the fastest job growth sectors in the economy, are in high demand, and provide local well-paying (at or above prevailing wages) jobs.

In addition to technical and hands-on knowledge and training to be provided by professionals and tradesmen, enrollees will have an opportunity to learn from and/or participate in the actual construction efforts of each Project.
